I've washed this blanket four times already and it somehow gets softer each time. The breathability is the real win for us — my daughter runs warm and she actually stays asleep in it instead of waking up sweaty.

The muslin is noticeably thicker than the gauzy ones I've tried, but somehow still breathes enough that my daughter doesn't wake up sweaty. It's already softened up after a couple of washes and I've started using it as a stroller cover too. Genuinely the most versatile blanket in her room right now.
