Installation took me maybe twenty minutes, and the rail clicks into place securely once you slide it over the exposed crib posts. Our two-year-old hasn't managed to wiggle past it once, and the cocoa bean finish blends in nicely with the rest of the room.
The color is a perfect match to the crib's finish, so it doesn't look like an add-on at all. My little one climbs in and out on her own now, and the rail feels solid enough that I don't worry about her rolling out at night.
Took about ten minutes to click into place once we had the front panel off, and it feels solid against the mattress. The cocoa bean finish is a touch lighter than our crib frame, but close enough that you'd never notice unless you're looking.
